Susan Maynard

A great sense of humour and a down to earth approach allows Susan to work collaboratively with tourism organisation, business owners, operators, and customer-facing sales staff to:

Highly regarded for her group workshops, webinars and one on one mentoring capabilities Susan tailors content and delivery to a broad range of audiences and skills levels.

Clients include Regional Tourism Organisations in Queensland, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands as well as individual tourism businesses across Queensland.

Project work is a specialty and for this Susan connects with other tourism and marketing consultants to deliver on specific briefs.

A passionate and enthusiastic tourism champion, Susan is an appointed Judge for the Queensland Tourism Awards, Immediate Past President (2016, 2017 and 2018) of the Skål International Sunshine Coast (Global Tourism Networking Group) and a member since 2009.

Julie has over 40 years’ experience in the tourism industry and specialises in the commercialisation of new tourism businesses.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science – Biology which drives her passion for eco-tourism, wellness tourism and science related projects.



She has also been appointed as a judge for the Qld Tourism Awards for 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
